To update Owners on the perimeter Sabal Trace Wall
Repair & Repaint Project
On Dec-11-2023, the Sabal Trace Master (STM) Board signed a contract amendment with John C Rizzo Custom Painting LLC. The amendment is to “fix all cracking and feathering out cracks on top of walls and both sides of walls and columns”. These repairs then allow for the original painting contract to go ahead.
The schedule to complete the entire project, subject to weather conditions, is as follows:
- John Rizzo advises that work will resume by mid-next week Dec-27-2023. Rizzo works with a small crew so do not expect to see them every day all day.
- The exterior of the wall is a priority. Work will begin starting on North Port Blvd and continuing to Greenwood Ave.
- The exterior wall is expected to be completed by mid-February 2024.
- The interior wall by mid-March 2024.
